About Jill
My most important role is that of mom to four young adults, three of whom were adopted at birth. They are truly my joy and I feel lucky everyday that they call me, “Mom”.
I have been a licensed social worker since 1997 and have spent most of my career working with children and families. I have a passion for working with children and families and understand the vulnerability of families who are placing their children for adoption as well as those who are hoping to adopt. As a homestudy provider, I am committed to ensuring children are placed with loving and well prepared adoptive families.
In the 20+ years I have worked in the field of adoption, I have had the pleasure of being involved in over 300 adoptions as a therapist, homestudy provider, consultant, post-placement provider and as someone who has helped families to find their adoption match.
Prior to working in the adoption field I worked in community mental health as a therapist for dually diagnosed adults and as a school based therapist. In 1996, I co-founded a non-profit, Technology Access Foundation, which partners with school districts, educators, and organizations to challenge the current public education system with a focus on children of color
