Second/Step Parent Adoption

A second or step-parent homestudy is a greatly pared down version of an adoption homestudy.  The requirements are very different as is the time and paperwork required to complete one.  They do, however, require some paperwork and a home visit during which time I will interview both parents; depending on the age of the child I may also request to interview them. Because the requirements of a second or step-parent homestudy are different the cost is also different.  The cost for a second or step-parent homestudy is $800.
